Future Plans for the Mithila Art Institute

The Mithila Art Institute will be the site of an exhibition of contemporary Mithila Painiting by both local artists an MIA students in late 2005. Paintings by MIA students will shortly appear on their website.

The MIA will soon begin hosting exhibitions of Mithila Painting in Madhubani and elsewhere in India, by the students and by other artists in the Mithila region. In addition, paintings by the students at the MIA will eventually be published on this website. The EAF also encouraged interested people to directly contact, commission, and/or sponsor MIA students by means of individual or group scholarships.
